On Monday 10th October get your whole school involved and wear something yellow and raise money for those children suffering.

It's easy to get involved including teachers, pupils and even parents, so why not dig out your favourite yellow tie, jumper or even your socks!

Young Writers Birthday Balloon Release

On Friday 23rd September the Young Writers' team and students from Nene Park Academy headed to Ferry Meadows in Peterborough to release 25 prize balloons to celebrate the 25th birthday of Young Writers. Each of the balloons has a special prize ticket attached, so if you come across a balloon with a special Young Writers tag don't forget to get in touch with us!

A massive thank you to all the students at Nene Park Academy, Peterborough!

YoungMinds is the country's leading Children and Young People's mental health charity. They have been working with schools to help them to build the resilience of their pupils. They have been working directly with small groups of children in primary schools across an East London Borough helping the children to create their own ideas and projects around resilience building in their schools.

In this academic year's poetry competition, Poetry Emotions, we're working with YoungMinds. We're aiming to raise a huge 5,000 to help raise awareness for YoungMinds and the great work they do to support children and young people.

So far we have raised 3578.10 (up to 23rd September) - thank you for your support!
