Repetition

What is Repetition?

Repetition is when a word or sentence is placed more than once within a poem.

Examples of Repetition:

An echo verse has repetition when the word or syllable at the end of a line is repeated as a response in the next line.

Kennings poem can have a repeated rhyme all the way through.

You can try writing a poem using repetition and enter it into one of our Poetry Competitions.
