I Have A Dream 2020

All Ages

A Poetry Competition For 11-18 Year-Olds

Your young writer is invited to write a poem inspired by their hopes, dreams and visions for the future.

Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Jacinda Arden - men and women of vision whose words have shaped the world we live in today. Their hopes and dreams have challenged society's greatest issues such as injustice, prejudice and poverty.

Who inspires your child? What are their hopes and aspirations for the future? They can write a poem in any style sharing their visions for a better world.

We've included a downloadable sample poem, but for those that just want to get writing, simply download the entry form!

Prizes

Our favourite published writer will win £50 and a framed certificate.

We'll also award one runner-up a stationery set.
