A Wander In The Woods | Creative Writing Competition
Inspire your young writers to write a mini saga, a story told in 100 words!
Did you know that the National Literacy Trust reported only 50% of children enjoy creative writing? It’s decreasing year on year... let’s put a stop to that now!
A Wander In The Woods will take your young writer's imagination on an adventure, whether you can do that outside or set the scene at home.
Winter is a wonderful time in the woods! Your young writer's mini saga (a story told in just 100 words) can be inspired by nature or they could retell a fairy tale with a twist. Perhaps a holiday or camping trip would make a fantastic recount and, of course, there’s the good old ghost story to give us chills on dark and stormy days!
If you go down to the woods today you're in for... an amazing English lesson because imagination is one thing the pandemic can't restrict!
