Poetry Stars invites poems on any theme and style, throwing open the doors to creativity & allowing 4-11 year-olds to showcase their writing.
Your child can be inspired by any poetic style, such as:

✏️haiku
✏️ode
✏️ode
✏️narrative poem
✏️sense poem
✏️sense poem
✏️free verse
The open theme makes it easy to tie in with their interests, or a fantastic opportunity to try writing using prompts or in a new style or theme.
Entries can be scribed by an adult if necessary.

To make sure your entries are valid, please follow the rules listed below:
- Only one entry per person
- Your child's work can be on the entry form or an A4 sheet of paper or typed. (An adult can assist!)
- Please include your child's name, age and full postal address on their entry
- Your child's work must be their own
- Poems can be on any subject & in any poetic style
- Copyright remains with the author
- Free to enter
- UK entrants only
