Future Voices gives young writers aged 12-18 the freedom to write about whatever matters to them, in any poetic style they choose.
You could explore current affairs, identity, conservation, relationships, something you love, something you want to change, or anything else that inspires you. Your poem can be powerful, personal, funny or thought-provoking..
There are no set themes or styles, so this is your chance to express yourself, your way.
You can be inspired by any poetic style, such as:

To make sure your entries are valid, please follow the rules listed below:
- Only one entry per person
- Your work can be on the entry form or an A4 sheet of paper or typed. (An adult can assist!)
- Please include your name, age and full postal address on their entry
- Your work must be their own
- Poems can be on any subject & in any poetic style
- Copyright remains with the author
- Free to enter
- UK entrants only
