School trips are a vital part of every curriculum, they encourage discovery and bring real-world experiences to children of all ages. In a time when going out hasn’t been easy, we want to help you take your class on a virtual school trip.

Most teachers are now experts in virtual learning and Zoom skills, but did you know you can take your pupils around the world on a school trip using just a computer?

There are a number of places across the globe sharing the opportunity to dive into a range of virtually created experiences.

Chester Zoo are hosting live "zoo days" on their Facebook and YouTube channels. You can experience the penguins waddling, watch rhinos get fed, or have a close encounter with a lion. Head to their pages to find out more about their live events, and take your class on a zoo day!

Discovery Education are taking you to visit the Polar Bears in Canada! Buckle up and prepare to be amazed by these furry majestic beasts. Head to the Tundra Connections page to view more.

How does a trip to the Cayman Islands sound? Why not take your whole class with you? CCMI are live-streaming their reef dives to give you a taste of tropical scuba-diving.

Travel across the national parks of America with the National Park Service's YouTube channel. You can travel down the ol' Mississippi River, take a look in the Grand Canyon, or dive into Niagra Falls. Head to the National Parks YouTube channel here.

These are just some of the opportunities available to take your pupils on a wander around the world, the possibilities are endless. If you use any of these, let us know! Send us a photo on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram of where your trips have taken you.
