“Not Just For Kids!”
Lovers strolling hand in hand.
Sunshine smiling and beaming on the land.
The see-saw gently rocking to and fro.
The park is not just for kids you know!
The swings cry out with the gentle strain, as they try to reach the planes.
Writers beavering away for hours.
Bees playing hide-and-seek in the flowers.
The park is not just for kids you know!
The great big oak tree slowly groans,
Watching teenagers play on their phones.
Computer geeks flying their bird-like drones.
The park is not just for kids you know!
Mummies chattering as children bravely play.
The birds chirp hello to a beautiful day.
Artists capture the idyllic scene.
The park is not just for kids you know!
The roundabout, feeling a little queasy.
Hay fever sufferers feeling sneezy.
Ladybugs taking it easy, they can be a little lazy.
The park is not just for kids you know!
Pensioners sit and take a pew, as they enjoy the view.
Butterflies flutter in the sky so blue.
Toddlers losing a naughty shoe.
The park is not just for kids you know!
So next time you visit your local park,
As you listen to the crazy dogs bark,
Take a moment, breathe in the scene.
The park is not just for kids you know!
