Young Writers teams up with charitable initiative Hug a Hospital.
By Luke Chapman | Holiday activities, Kids, Parents, Teachers, Charity, Family

We need our wonderful young writers to use your creativity to help us thank the nation’s heroic health care workers.
The initiative aims to thank NHS staff across the UK with a hand-created hug-in-a-card from you, and we’re taking part!
Each card you create lands personally in the hands of a worker somewhere in the UK, meaning your creativity will help bring a smile to someone who needs the motivation!
What you can do:
- Draw a picture on the front of a card/piece of paper, Ideal size - 6x4”/10x15cm
- Write a message of thanks inside the card plus your name and age
- Place card inside a plain envelope - DO NOT address or seal this!
- Put your card and envelope inside another envelope, and send to:

To make life a little easier, we've created a handy template here which you can print to save time: landscape or portrait
Make sure to share them on social media and tag us, we want to see your amazing creations and we'll be making our own at Young Writers HQ too! Anyone can take part, so get involved, the more cards received the more key workers will be thanked.
