So your young writer has been chosen for publication, congrats! Now they’re a published author why not treat them like one?

After your child's work is selected for publication their writing will be held in the British library forever, that's HUGE. How about celebrating their newfound fame and show them the celebrity world they deserve with our top ideas to treat your child to stardom. 

Hold your very own book signing -

Hold a book signing with your author, set aside a table and get the new author to sign all the copies of their books. You can keep their signature in there forever and you'll have your very own signed copy.

Do an author photoshoot -

Hold an exclusive photoshoot with your young author to show off their new release. Get dressed up, try on different outfits and show off their new book.

Press interviews -

When an author releases a new book you'll often see them in the news or being interviewed. Open up voice notes on your phone and ask your new author some important questions about their release, "how did you find the inspiration for your writing? How does it feel to be a new author? What's next?".

Write a news article -
