The Kane Chronicles: The Serpents Shadow by Rick Riordan

A book review by Thomas Whitting, aged 10

"The Kane Chronicles: The Serpent's Shadow" by Rick Riordan follows Carter and Sadie Kane as they battle the gods of Egypt. The Serpent’s Shadow is the final book in this three-book series, where Sadie and Carter have to stop the giant Chaos snake, Apophis, from rising and devouring Rá (the sun god).

The book is very adventurous and fun but will not make sense unless you have read the first two (The Red Pyramid and The Throne of Fire).

I found the book a bit surprising at times, which made me just want to finish it as it was very exciting and built suspense. It really made me feel like I was in the book, experiencing the events as they happened.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and hope you will too.

I would rate this book 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
