Friday the 30th is the Young Writers' Animal Antics Day. Join in the fun by downloading your animal masks and getting creative, there'll be a prize for our favourite photo!

What's something Poetry Safari and Peculiar Pets have in common? Some good ol' animal antics!

This Friday (April 30th 2021) we're celebrating our new animal competitions with our Animal Antics Day, and we want your roarsome selves to take part.

Albert the tortoise will also be making an appearance, and you can win a copy of "Albert Upside Down" from Ian Brown and Eoin Clarke. To be in with the chance of winning, we want to see you get creative! Download our animal masks below (or create your own) and have some fun. Send us your photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or tag us in your posts and we'll choose our favourite to win a copy of Albert's book.

We'll be taking part at Young Writers HQ too with some colourful animal masks, so watch this space and get crafting!
