Secondary School Competitions

This competition is a great classroom activity for pupils, it gives them a chance to be part of a creative writing experience; from writing their mini saga to the chance of seeing their work in print. I am sure your pupils will find it inspiring and fun.

Express Yourself is the new poetry competition from Young Writers for 2011-2012. We are inviting teachers to send us poems by pupils aged 11-18 to be considered for publication in regional anthologies. The school with the best set of entries will receive £1,000 and six runner-up schools will receive cash prizes. Pupils have the chance to win over £1,000 in book tokens!
