We would like to thank everyone who has entered this touching tribute to motherhood. After reading through all of the lovely poems a winner has been chosen and their someone special will be sent a bouquet of flowers.

Ghost Stories competition invites children to send in funny, scary and attention-grabbing stories in to us for the chance of being published. Ghost Stories is an ongoing competition and out of all the entries we have received winners have been announced for two publications.

Winter Wonderland invited children to send in winter inspired poems for the chance of being published. Children also had the chance of winning a £25 Game voucher, which was given to the best poem in each anthology. Thank you to all who entered!

Acrostic Competition invited children from after school clubs to send their acrostic poems to us for the opportunity to have their poem published and the chance of winning a book token. Clubs also had the chance to win £1000 for the best set of poems sent in to us. The Young Writers team were blown away with the poems they had to judge and found it extremely difficult to choose the club and pupil winners! Congratulations to everyone that took part, keep up the good work!

Express Yourself invited children between 7-11 years old to send us their pieces of art created by them to be in with a chance of winning an art set and for their school to receive £1,000! The artwork received from children all around the world were outstanding, the children showed how talent and hard-work went into each piece. A huge congratulations to all that took part, please keep up the good work!

True Colours invited children between 11-18 years old to send us their pieces of art created by them to be in with a chance of having their winning artwork on a canvas and for their school to receive £1,000! The artwork received from children all around the world were outstanding, the amount of talent and hard-work which went into each piece. Celebrations 2008We received hundreds of entries for our competition celebrating the 18th anniversary of Young Writers. Thank you to everyone who entered and was successful in having their poem published in our special anniversary edition hardback anthology.
