Young Writers' Mini Saga New Adventures competition is now open!
The competition is a great classroom activity for pupils, it gives them a chance to be part of a creative writing experience; from writing their mini saga to the chance of seeing their work in print. I am sure your pupils will find it inspiring and fun.
It's easy to take part...
- Encourage your pupils to write a mini saga in 50 words on any theme. Idea generator available.
- Each entry needs to be completed on our entry form (these can be printed and photocopied).
- Send a completed school entry form along with your pupils' mini sagas to the freepost address.
Benefits of the competition...
- Develops writing and creative skills.
- Mini sagas can be on any theme, but must be a maximum of 50 words.
- Supports Key Stage 2 learning objectives.
- Supports Every Child Matters 'Enjoy & Achieve' outcome.
- Mini sagas are selected on the basis of imagination, expression and writing ability.

Selected entrants will have the opportunity to have their mini sagas published alongside their peers and other children around the country.
