Start Of The School Week

Trudging to school on a cold, dreary morning, a
It's only Monday, this week is going to be long, b
So tired, I'm still yawning, a
This feeling hardly makes me break into song, b
A week of learning stretches out ahead, c
The teacher's at the front, the first lesson's art, d

Really would love to go back to bed, c
But Friday rolls around and it's time to depart, d
