Budding young writers see their own stories in print

Year 4 pupils at Great Finborough Primary School had the great opportunity of seeing their stories in print after successfully getting through the Young Writers' 2011 Creative Writing Competition for children aged between 7-11.

Their writing is part of the school's Big Write work, which sees workshops being held every week with extensive writing opportunities focusing on a variety of different genres for the children.

Headteacher Stephen Dodd said: "The competition came up and linked to the work we were doing.

"The children are very proud of their achievements and excited to receive their copies of the book."
