Young Writers' Express Yourself competition is now open!

The competition is a great classroom activity for pupils, it gives them a chance to be part of a creative writing experience; from writing their poem to the chance of seeing their work in print. I am sure your pupils will find it inspiring and fun.

Motivate your pupils to write and discover poetry by asking them to imagine their future hopes and dreams or challenge them to change the world by expressing themselves through poetry.

Deadline: 31st May 2012

It's easy to take part...

• Each pupil can write their poem on a piece of paper and must be no longer than 30 lines long.

• Each entry needs to have a pupil entry form attached (these can be printed and photocopied)

• Send a completed school entry form along with your pupils' poems to the freepost address
