Everybody Writes Day

Everybody Writes Day will be held on 21st October to celebrate writing in schools. This is a chance for schools and pupils to dedicate a day especially to creative writing.

Is your school running a big writing event, or a series of playful and engaging writing activities?

We are inviting you to send us your poems or short stories that you have created at either at school or home for Everybody Writes Day by Friday 4th November. The top ten young writers will have their work featured on our Everybody Writes Day dedication page and also receive a copy of 'Writing Is Fun'.

If you would like to enter please send your full name, address and age to prizedraw@youngwriters.co.uk along with your poem or short story. Also remember to add 'Everybody Writes Day' in your subject heading.

Please make sure you send your details to us by Friday 4th November 2011.
