The Young Film Critic Awards 2007

Budding Young journalists between the ages of 7-19 years are invited to submit a film review.

About the Competition

Budding young journalists between the ages of 7-19 years are invited to submit a film review of no more than 250 words. The winner of each age category will receive a Yamaha Theatre System as well as a school prize of classroom equipment and film teaching resources.

The competition can be entered through a dedicated website at www.youngfilmcritic.org where teachers and students will find the criteria and downloadable entry forms. Students should submit their review of any film released in cinemas in the past year before the closing date of 21st September 2007. Entries will be judged in age categories:
  • The Young Film Critic of the Year (15-19)
  • The Young Film Critic of the Year (11-15)
  • The Young Film Critic of the Year (7-11)
