Michael Scott - what would you ask him?

In Issue 39 of Wordsmith we will have Michael Scott, author of the New York Times best-selling series, ‘The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel’, as one of our Guest Authors and we cannot wait!

As part of our exclusive feature in Issue 39, Michael will not only be answering our questions but he will answer some of yours! Michael’s great love and knowledge of myth and folklore, and his ability to weave in legendary characters against a modern setting are spellbindingly demonstrated in his ‘Nicholas Flamel’ series. The long-awaited fourth book in the series, ‘The Necromancer’, was released in August and a fifth book is due out soon. The first book in the series, ‘The Alchemyst’ is being made into a film.

The series tells the story of teenage twins Sophie and Josh, who must prevent the Dark Elders from returning to Earth and ending the world. They must battle creatures that only belong in myth and legend and the alchemyst, Nicholas Flamel, will help them train in all the elemental magics in order to do this. Not only must the twins deal with new and frightening powers, they must decide who they can really trust …
