Welcome to Young Writers - Competition Winners


	I Have a Dream was a popular poetry competition for secondary school pupils across the UK and overseas. Pupils were challenged to write an inspirational poem – based on someone, or something, that inspired them. The result is a collection of positive poetry written by today’s young adults. 	Over 2,000 schools took part nationwide and we received almost 60,000 acrostics. We have enjoyed reading every acrostic and it was a difficult, but rewarding task to select the overall winning school. Find out more >>>

	We asked young poets to write poems inspired by the things that mean the most to them in the world, the things they couldn't live without and that made each day a joy. The response was enormous and subjects ranged from their favourite person or pet, to the hobby they enjoy the most or the TV programme they can't bear to miss. Find out more >>>
