We asked young poets to write poems inspired by the things that mean the most to them in the world, the things they couldn't live without and that made each day a joy. The response was enormous and subjects ranged from their favourite person or pet, to the hobby they enjoy the most or the TV programme they can't bear to miss. Due to the quality of the entries, choosing the four overall winners was a difficult but an enjoyable task. Presented below are the four winners, who have each won a laptop. Congratulations to those poets and to everyone who took part in this fantastic poetry competition.
