The Adventure Starts Here 2009 Mini Saga Creative Writing Competition was a huge success and we’d like to thank all the pupils who participated as well as all the staff who organised the entries.

"We were delighted to hear that we had come third in this competition. The £250 is very welcome and we have put it towards payment for an author to visit the school - Alan Gibbons on 7th April 2011. We are focussing very much on raising the standards of writing within our school and the mini sagas competition was one that the children reall enjoyed without the pressure of extended writing!
