Congratulations to our winner, Georges Ajaka! |
Congratulations to Georges Ajaka (12) who is the 1st prize winner in If I Ruled the World competition. Georges wins a MP3 player for his fantastic poem ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. Thank you to everyone who participated, as always we love reading your poems! Georges’ poem was published in ‘If I Ruled The World’ and here is his winning entry: Welcome To The Jungle A roar from the lion, a laugh from the baboon, The only time you’ll see a werewolf, is under the full moon. People dancing around a blazing fire, Lots of beautiful nature to admire. Forget about boundaries and rules, Have fun playing by the beach and in pools. Imagine a world without murder or sin, Forget all evil, put it in the bin. Peace has overcome war, Everyone is equal, no one is poor. Forget politics now the world’s fun, Don’t mess around, burn that gun. Animals and humans work together, I hope this goes on forever. Imagine if no rocks were hurled, It would be like this, if I ruled the world! Georges Ajaka (12) ![]() |
