Young Writers Around The World In 80 Words competition is now open!

The competition is a great classroom activity for pupils, it gives them an opportunity to be part of a creative writing experience, from writing their short story to the chance of seeing their work in print. I am sure your pupils will find it inspiring and fun.

It's easy to take part...

• Encourage your pupils to write a short story.
• Stories can be on any subject, the idea spinner, lesson plan and fact sheet can be used for inspiration.
• Stories need to be completed on the entry forms and be a maximum of 80 words.
• Stories must be pupils' own work..
• Only one entry per pupil, there is no limit to the number of entries sent in per school.
